Mindfulness based psychotherapy helps clients focus attention on the present experience non-judgmentally. The mindful practice supports clients in observing their emotional state and come to embrace all aspects of their experience. Each person develops their unique relationship to a mindfulness practices over time. Once a mindfulness approach has been learned, a client is able to respond to any situation that presents itself with a sense of control and calm. Psychological insights and emotional healing will deepen through the regular practice of mindfulness.
